Yes … winter is here. At Sections R Us we like winter because it’s a great time of year to buy and sell land. 

Why is that? Well, quite aside from the old saying “you get to see the property at its worst”, which is of course true; the winter months allow you time to prepare and plan for your new home so that construction can start in summer.

It takes time to plan and design the perfect home, produce the final plans, and then submit these plans to Council in order to gain the necessary consents. 

It makes good sense to do this over winter so that your builder can arrive onsite in summer ready to begin your new home. Conditions then are of course drier, construction is less prone to delay, and the days are longer = $ in your pocket.
